AI can be a valuable source of inspiration, and it's tempting to use it as a reference. However, unless you are a highly technically skilled artist already, I would not recommend using AI reference. AI is a machine that is optimised to trick people into thinking the work it's producing is correct. The problem is that the mistakes it makes are very difficult for non-experts to spot and can reinforce bad habits during the learning process.
