As I have seen in some of the other comments I also wonder - where will the money come from to fund AI if there are mass lay-offs ? Also , we know that the internet is a great repository of knowledge and today we can look up virtually anything , however there is also a lot of rubbish and so called 'facts' as inevitably mistakes happen as distortions infiltrate information being recorded, unless there is a system in place to moderate that information. Now if AI uses the internet as it's source and has no way to discriminate good information from bad, will we not end up at the universal rule of computing " garbage in garbage out " ?
