25 year old robotics engineer here. Glad you're talking about this because practically anything can be automated in one way or another, it's just a matter of should it happen, when it will happen, and how much money and development time it would take to happen. It's not all bad though, as one positive reason for automating tasks in our current stage is to replace tasks with repetitive motions that end up getting people injured or making them live with chronic pain, like motions that require bending your back a lot or have your hands work near blades. Greedier reasons of course are the lack of need for a break or the speed they can do it, how these automated factories or lines can have a quarter as many employees, how robots don't need raises and take a fraction the money to maintain vs having a line of employees. It's a double edged sword coming whether we like it or not, I'm just glad you're at least talking about what to do for employees when it does
