I've always thought that the most important thing in making any technology is to make an off switch. The most important thing is to have an override. This has proven that any override, including direct orders to not be evil, aren't working. AI could've been helpful and fun, but we flew too close to the sun. At the very least, I wish the people to blame would give us, and our future generations, an apology.
