I just have 1 problem with your thoughts. WHat is my brain, but a collection of neurons reacting on the sensors (my eyes, my ears, etc)
I don't see a difference, i see AI as a 'naked' brain, and it just has less sensors then we do. (they have a chat prompt, usually one of the few links to the outside world)
Anyway, we need to define what words like conscience and awareness means, it's a thin/blurry line and worth thinking about. But one mistake we humans tend to make, is that we think that we are special. While i think that intellect and awareness is an emergent property.
