As someone who actually has been tinkering with generative A.I. images for a couple months now for fun, I can say that it is considerably more difficult than some make it out to be. Masking, regional prompting, using controlnets for a basic pose and then building off of that, doing multiple render passes on certain sections of the image to touch them up, etc. But, see, I don't consider myself an "artist" for using these tools to generate images. I consider myself... A PROGRAMMER. That's the underlying issue, I feel, is these tech-bros insisting that they're "artists" making "A.I. Art" and that they should be taken as seriously as actual pen-to-page artists. No. You are not an artist. You are a programmer. Now, being a programmer DOES take skill and, hell, I would argue that you SHOULD take pride in learning that skill! But, like... Fuckin' stay in your lane. You're not an artist. You're a programmer.
