i understand that if your job is threatened by ai it sucks, and i probably agree that the tech isnt there yet and is still inferior in predictably against a human but i understand that in order to grow as a whole jobs are going to be replaced. im not seeing anyone sad about loosing the manual farm labor that was required until the start 20th century.
For safety or predictably you can fight this sort of stuff but if you're going to fight it for the sake of jobs your energy is better spent learning to work in a world with ai.
Anyway, im not seeing trucks like this navigating small city streets with expert manoeuvres without issue for a few years or so, definitely not in a predictable way. They will get stuck requiring remote assistance for a while at least.
Again.. im sorry if your job is threatened. The only think i can say its good you're seeing it now. Just like stocks in the stock market if it crashes because a company isnt viable anymore, get out asap. Look for your plan b now...
