You are completely wrong... not kind of, completely.
EVERYTHING in an LLM is weighted... EVERYTHING!
The chatbot(s) you describe is fairly rare as most LLM agents (bot if you prefer) are written by idiots that lack grammar or the ability to speak in the ways you describe therefore the agent can't and won't communicate in the ways you've described as they engineers know that if they (the engineers) don't communicate in this manner than neither will the end user making the LLM "useless" as a money making product.
The LLMs may have consumed the whole of the world's literary content but it also ate social media posts... People on social media have disproportionately weighted the LLMs to "stupid" and the "stupid" setting is reinforced by low wage idiots that further weight the LLMs to the big company's wishes.
Speaking to the toaster like it is a person is dumb, talking to the toaster like it is a machine is the way to go.
