Hello
im a little late to the party i apologize
first i have to state that im not commenting on the copy right stuff its not the subject of my comment and im not here to bash i actually liked your video cause it had some great points
but your point about AI not being creative and just taking few artworks and combining them to make new one is completely flawed
you said that you do not agree with the statement "well humans do the samething" quoting your own words "because there goes a lot of time into it and the artists have to put their life experiences into them" well let me say it this way
how are brain works (im assessing our visual understanding of the world right now) is we are actually collecting more and more data (in this case visual) and because our brain has to be efficient with its memory capacity it takes just a few parts of everything we see (and that's where the human touch comes to play, its the imperfections of our brain that brings that HUMAN TOUCH its not something out of this world) and stores it in our brain and creates connections and relations to other data that it stores so ,in other words, it creates a concept related to the object (or other concepts)
the only difference with AI is we actually can see the process with an AI and you can pin point what the source material for that concept is
it goes back to the TRUE CREATIVITY discussion that even to this day it is debated amongst neuroscientists and philosophers that is true creativity even a real thing
because no matter how creative an individual is they can not "create something COMPLETELY out of this world " an evidence for that is that people who were born blind when they are dreaming in there sleep their dream is not visual and does not have any pictures in it even though their brain has the functionality of processing visual data and the simple reason for that is that those people dont have any visual DATA SETS
some people may use the argument "even non artists should be concerned cause some day it might be them that lose their jobs" the part "non artist may also lose their job" is correct in fact its inevitable with advancement of science and technology more and more labor work was and will be replaced with technology and at some point its time for intellectual work to be replaced so at some point technology will takeover both intellectual work and labor
and when that happens the only works that will be free for humans are social work (partially) and surprisingly arts
but the commercial aspect of it all will not exist anymore
because some may rather watch a theater that's played by actual humans or go to art galleries full of paintings and other art pieces that humans made because they want to see that HUMAN TOUCH
i have many more points to make but it would make my comment and even longer essay XD
about the copy right issue there's a topic called roboethics or robot ethics i encourage you to look into that
and i do think the reaction you got from the internet about your artwork being recreated by AI was unnecessary and im sorry you experienced that but its internet man
some people have no prohibition on it
