While I agree with everything you said, and am actually optimistic about uses of AI in the arts that ARE actually fun and interesting, I am worried about how the corporate world will use AI to make as many artists redundant as possible.
Movie posters, book and magazine illustrations, advertisements, packaging, these are all part of our culture in some way, and it'd be a shame if all that is shaped by the cold unfeeling hand of a machine.
