A list of credits would be better. I like what some country's trademark organisations are doing by refusing to offer copyrights for AI generated artwork.
The best use for it imo is to inspire artists by giving them a fast way to ideate concepts. Very good artists can produce better results from scratch, but beginners could use AI assistance to help visualise the scene and test what could or could not work.
