As a highly talented and amazingly well educated specialist, Dr. Roman Yampolskiy offers a unique perspective on the AI phenom. I have heard similar offerings from other such specialists. Sadly, they are missing the big picture. If it turns out that AI becomes truly evil or, what is said by some to be more likely, becomes assimilated within such humans, that would certainly affirm what the good doctor offers.
However, in this era of humanity, generalists are becoming more dominant than in recent decades and they wholeheartedly disagree with those and that offered above. While there is much confusion and chaos regarding certain phenom, humans seem to have a way of rising to the occasion. This will be a most enjoyable game to watch and participate in.
