I feel deepfaking and some AI tools in general should be illegal. The accuracy of AI generated content and how it's starting to become harder to distinguish from reality is honestly getting quite disturbing, and is something that really scares me about the future. I don't even watch meme deepfake videos because deepfaking real people creeps me out.
Just imagine how many people could be convicted of things they didn't commit because of deepfaking, even serious crimes. It's really messed up.
