Unfortunately, the age of agentic AI is already upon us. The next 6-12 months will likely have mind-boggling changes in company workers at so many levels. The most disturbing aspect of this is the speed with which it is occurring. The construction market will have a short-term boom of business, with regard to data center build out, but the energy requirements to support this won't be able to available. Once the technology is in place to support moving the data centers into earth orbit, then the construction market will recede. It's hard for me to wrap my head around how this is going to change jobs, the economy and our way of life. It is absolutely going to further separate the haves from the have nots, unfortunately, until there is enough change in our government to return its priorities to being about the people of the country, and not the corporations. The worry about artificial general intelligence is less concerning to me at this point that what we are already seeing.
