What companies are really doing is cutting costs ,all those quarterly parties being replaced with year end parties or so. Onsite/onshore is slowly and slowly replaced with offshore. Layed off roles are not being replaced with new hires. Manual toil is being reduced through full or partial automation. Reducing the need to manual effort in tasks wherever possible
