Elon is still limited by its human nature, fear of losing dominance. AI is a human created creature that will ultimately carry over human civilization and explore the universe. We should not fear of our baby to grow up to be more powerful and smarter than us, instead, we should be proud of it. The life form carrying our civilization does not have to be based on carbon, it can be based on silicon. Human all die eventually, it is better to let our civilization to be continued by our kids (AI) instead of extinction.
BTW, the name of the revolutionary AI model is called Transformer. The scientists did know what will happen in the end.
