When factories took over people lost their jobs as well. Either new jobs will be created or some kind of UBI will be implemented or people will seize the means of production. A declining birth rate could turn out to be a good thing as jobs will become scarce so fewer people chasing those jobs would keep wages from going down. Personally I’m trying to change jobs to something AI can’t do at least until we have robots.
