Y'alls concern is misplaced. The addiction to fossil fuels will make climate unlivable for both humanity and AI within a decade or two if we don't quench it's crazy use. However, the best description you can see is XKCD's "Earth Temperature Timeline" Based on DATA, it starts at 20000BCE, with the average temperature -4C from the mean. Boston was over a MILE under ice and NYC's Statute of Liberty would have been seeing glacier walls. Scroll down, and the temperature slowly rises till you get to 1900CE. Then it explodes up. We're on the path to +2-3C above average by 2050CE. If at -4C below average Boston was a mile under ice, how far under water will the coastal cities be when the temperature is +3C above average.
