One thing they forget is that, for one to be able to make digital art they first gotta be able to make actual art. A good digital artist still needs to know art fundamentas like perspective, anatomy, composition and so on, and that knowledge doesn't disappear if they don't have any means to create DIGITAL art. Ofc the tools are different, and I as an aspiring classical artist have the impression Digital Art might be more practical once you learn the tools (as in, you don't need to worry about running out of materials or paper and so on) but if you can't draw with pencil and paper picking up a drawing tablet won't magically give you skill. "AI Art" is closer to telling someone ELSE to draw a scene/character then claiming you're the artist because you described what they should draw. You may be a contributor, but you aren't the artist behind the piece lol
