I am an experienced data scientist(in today’s term maybe AI engineer)I began to work on language models in the context of fuzzy matching to detect misspellings in 2007. I do respect Mr. Hinton very much and I value his opinion. I am also very glad to realize I agree with him on most of the points he said. Thats a good sign that I grasp this field well.
