Many people commented how ChatGPT is terrible at all sorts of serious jobs, so I thought about commenting what I think it's best at:
Recently it saved my ass by helping me write a bot that enters repetitive data on a site automatically. It's a long story, but in short it helped me do something in 2 hours instead of like 18 and it saved the day. I have a CS degree so that also helped me understand the code and how to prompt ChatGPT, but I didn't have time to read the docs for the tools I used.
This is what it's best at imo, showing you how to do a simple task quickly with a tool you never used before.
