I experienced really bad community harassment; I watched my only parent get bullied out of every job she tried to have because my family had it out for us and they have a lot of connections. I was my mom's main support and I felt like I had lost her many times. I had to wake her up from nightmares where she was screaming in her sleep, the nightmares were always about being bullied at work because it had gotten THAT bad.
My chance at a normal life or holding down a regular job where I have to put myself out there was ruined, I won't even go to the Dr now. I always liked doing art since I was a kid, but once my life had basically been ruined, I started to see doing art from home as my only chance. Then AI came along.
The AI bros who say "Just get a regular job" or "this tech is going to HELP disabled artists" have it so freaking backwards.
