I feel like that study at the end may need a bit more info to make any conclusions...yea the people who got more UBI worked less, but in the AI hellscape pictured, that would be the goal, right? Like how can the paper say UBI is a bad thing if human work is so valueless, why work extra if it's for pennies? Seems like what the ideal economist would want, peoples' work is worth cents on the dollar but expect them to still clock in and "be productive" after their UBI check.
