I miss when AI image generation was really bad and it just created funny nonsense
I feel the problem with it now is that it's so good, it's being used as an *alternative* to real artists, which is not okay
Whereas before, we could just use it to get a funny little chuckle out of a garbled mess of colors, but everyone knew that if you really wanted good art, you'd have to commission someone or learn to draw for yourself
I understand that for many people, especially minors who don't typically have a job, commissioning an artist isn't feasible
But AI art just... isn't the way to go about that issue
Mow lawns or something, there's usually some easy way like that to get a bit of money
