i always hated the way artists are treated because of AI art, i always felt uncomfy and discuraged people to not use AI to do art. But im a programmer and im not really a artist. i knew it was fucking awfull and soul crushing but i didnt experience it myself so i didnt know how it truly felt. and i kinda feel selfish for not knowing it or doing more. but now its happening with programmers too. Our positions will slowly be replaces or people wont contract us because of funny Chat GPT and all. Im so sorry i didnt have a more intense reaction when this started but at least we are in this together with the people that support us. slowly more people will lose their jobs because of it and even the jaded people in these insane groups will start realizing the proglems they enabled. hopefully legislation can come for a more ethical future with AI. Well stand together <3
