Buggy whips. There is a reason that buggy whips are a cliché to describe jobs that technology has made obsolete. Yes, AI will remove the need for a lot of low level jobs. What this means is that there is more of a need for Universal Basic Income. AI is a sign that society has reached the point where the basic needs of human beings should be supplied as a right, not as something that depends on your ability to earn. Shelter, food clothing, utilities, medical care with an amount for discretionary spending. All this should be free for every single person.
