Not an AI fan but the only actual use I can think of (was just thinking during your disabled artist part) is like.. random person who isn't into art/can't draw etc - could like quickly generate a picture for a D&D character or something. Like I think I had a friend who got a picture for their character and it was better than the usual nothing.
A lot of normal people aren't willing to commission art in general and some can't afford it. So while I don't like AI and what it's doing, I think it's cool someone can realise a character quickly (that looks mediocre of course, because it's ai) but with no skills or creativity or knowledge.
