It's interesting reading comments by real people and not AI, for a change. I'm not convinced sentience is as big a deal as you all make it out to be. We have 5 to 7 brains, depending on how you want to argue for them. Our inner voice is what has you all thinking you have a soul. That's just vector algebra with neurotransmitters and calcium ions. Same thing AI does.
