I've always been polite with my limited use of AI, but there have been recent reports that using words like "please" and "thank you" is costing AI tens of millions of dollars a year and is extremely energy intensive makes me very hesitant to use these basic courtesy terms. I'm less worried about the money, but the environmental impact is certainly a concern. I find this quite the dilemma.
