While a neural network seem a logical association, as it concerns the organisation of our cognitive brain, I feel it is a red herring! U c, that concept of neural networks has everything to do with our memory, or "data" in AI speak... I believe that our brain is most useful because of its ideas capacity, and "data" by its nature is extrapolative... No new ideas just "data networks" or neural networks... I see real ideas as rooted not in memory but in imagination... The neural network is subsequent, as a test of the ideas...Real AGI will come when we discover the base currency of imagination, I don't know what that is, but I would bet my bottom dollar it is not memory or data... These 2 will validate but will never create...
