So the AI was right, he was involved in a shooting. And twice as well. Should probably look into the reasons why the algorithm produces the results it does. It’s possible that it was brought to that conclusion because he could be in a high crime area and/or the fact black people are involved in shootings disproportionately to white people. The AI isn’t racist or sexist because it’s designed that way. The results just don’t favor your bias due to empathy. Machines lack that filter. All they know is true and false.
