I think we artists need to stop fighting amongst ourselves and direct our attention towards the real enemy: Generative AI. Even if you think digital tools make digital art not real art, you can’t deny that it at least had a creative mind and vision behind it. AI just steals from both parties, samples their work, and then passes it off as its own. Make all the arguments you want against digital art, it won’t change the fact that it still has human involvement behind the work, There is still a human hand making each brush stroke. AI does not that that authenticity.
