You clearly don’t know these creators that well. Asmon isn’t an AI art Stan. He’s just a realist. He sees the writing on the walls that AI is going to be used in more and more things that require art. And it’s going to get better and better whether you like it or not. I’m not an AI art Stan I’m just capable of looking at reality. And the reality is that these tools are getting better and better and will continue to get better and better. That doesn’t mean we’re never going to want human artists. But I think the best thing in this situation is to be honest. Many artists are going to lose their job because of AI. It is going to take less people to create things as these tools get better. Lying to artists and pretending like this isn’t going to affect their jobs is not the nice thing to do. Most people don’t really care how the art was made as long as it’s good. And when AI is capable of making things that look good enough for most people, many artists will lose their jobs. That sucks, but it is the reality. We are already seeing some companies adopting AI and though it does not always look good. It is getting harder for people to tell the difference. Artist should be prepared for this, not be in denial and act as if these tools could never replace them. With enough time and technology any job can be replaced. Throughout human history we have seen that be the case.
