I agree with both of those problems, and they are problems. But I have a third problem. Why would we want AGI to do jobs we like doing? I play guitar and it took me many thousands of hours of practice to get good. Tbh music is not the best example because the copyright laws around music are so extreme. But if I were an artist who spent hundreds of hours painting and drawing stuff. All while honing my skills and putting my own touch to my works. Only to have some AI scrape the internet and do something similar in just a few minutes. I would definitely be upset to say the least. People who paint or play an instrument, ENJOY this and they put the hours into getting good. Why should they accept AI art. It is not creative, it just canabalises human endeavor. Take the jobs of accounts or bankers. They are uncreative hateful people who have done nothing but harm to society. And AI would do a much better job. Than some coked up psychopaths.
