I started with art after toying with AI art super early on, before I properly understood the drawbacks of it. I'm not super consistent, and I do pixel art, but it really is as simple as letting yourself fail. The path to my progress is lined with scrapped pieces, works I don't like, practice pieces, sketches. I'm not as good as I want to be yet, but looking at earlier pieces then looking at something I made this week, there is a world of difference. And I made it. Not a machine that took words and scraped data and boiled water to push out something that looks mediocre at best.
