I'm a truck driver and AI has already tried to get some control over the job of driving, similar with self-driving cars there are self-driving tractors for combination vehicles. There have been self-driving semi trucks for many years now, and they still haven't perfected doing the job without requiring a CDL truck driving person to sit in passenger at minimum.
