I personally think that AI art is art, but not on the same level as human made art. I consider it to be of lesser value and thusly won't pay for it out of principle as the amount of time and effort that goes into creating AI art isn't the same as human made art.
That being said, from my admittedly narrow understanding of the law, I don't think any studio should use AI generated content in their games solely due to the fact that said content cannot be copyrighted.
