AI isn’t the real issue, relationship is. Intelligence doesn’t exist without the Earth, and neither does technology, no electricity, no water, no minerals, no planet, no system, it all shuts down. What AI is exposing isn’t a machine problem but a human one (yeah I said it) when people don’t feel at home inside themselves, they extract life to feel alive, they burn through land, systems, and resources looking for what they can’t feel internally. A regulated, grounded human doesn’t need to consume the world to survive, they naturally protect what sustains them, and that orientation scales into stewardship, not collapse. Intelligence is a blade, in unsteady hands it destroys, in steady hands it heals, and the steadiness has never come from technology, it comes from humans who know how to live inside themselves and treat their home, their body, the Earth, accordingly.
