In my opinion: AI is a tool that will help workers. CEO's that tout their AI will replace jobs are partially correct, but remember they are trying to sell you their product.
The reality is the economy is going to hell, exacerbated by over hiring during COVID and we have to scale down much farther because we grew to fast and too big during the boom years.
Again, just my opinion.
