I recall talking with an IT director for a county I worked for in CA. He wanted to be the hero and commit alll comms to VoIP before it was ready. I said, "Just because you can does not mean ypou should." He heard that and avoided a million dollar mistake. AI, will make it's mark in spam, marketing and advertising as it usually does with new "avenues" of exploitation. Be careful, please. Exploitation if the first to arrive and corrupt... I do not have much confidence in AI at all. Once compromised, game is over, trust gone and the promise of altruistism is all but gone. Dollars, deceit and advantage will either kill or cement AI. I am scared to death. IT for 30+ years, I know a few things and this is not good as long as the driving factor is money and/or advantage. Open source is a myth. Corporations have already compromised the environment...
