Yeah they can say they need AI so they can stay ahead of criminals all they want but our government is the same government that was baffled in the 80s when they caught a bunch of gang leaders with multiple photo IDs with their face and different names because the criminals realized you could exploit the system at the DMV to get a new license or ID and all you needed was a piece of mail... No I don't know about you but my fucking 3-year-old nephew would understand the exploitability of that system and could instantly tell how a criminal could use it to get multiple fake IDs. But our government stood there acting like baffled fucking idiots to try to save face because I think the real reason why they let that system be in place is so that their agents could get IDs easier but beyond that so that the criminals would be able to and thus create a need for more police which means... More money flowing
