I think what is sad is these people who like AI art want to remove the skill ceiling, but that is probably the worst way to to ruin any field, when you remove the skill then no one is skilled, you water down what it takes to even have a skill in the first place, people like to express themselves but when people try to take that expression away it makes people angry, they say it will allow more people to express themselves artistically but the issue is when everyone can make a very detailed image with no skills needed, then your expression will be seen as not as valueable by others, its "just another image anyone can make now" it looses what made it an expression to begin with, "wow, I could never draw that, they're amazing" and "they actually think what I made is Amazing?!" and that creates amazement of the audience and actual wonder, and the artist gets to express themselves and be validated on it, but if everyone can do that, then the reaction will be non existent, and the validation from the reaction will also be gone as a result, its something that should be stopped now, if the people who make "AI images" value expression, then they should stop using the tool that expresses for them, and express themselves through their own work and effort.
