He’s been saying two years for two years. During the 1990s ERP shifted knowledge work dramatically and swiftly company by company. Many say that AI will absorb all entry-level positions, so the new generation of adults have no place to start to gain the experience needed to develop strategy and ensure the systems are continuing to progress competitively.
The result is, many companies, as they continue to pursue efficiency strategies, are hiring for Intern-Level positions. These Interns will learn the business while participating in the implementation of incrementally improving technology, both legacy and AI.
