This is the failure of capitalism at work. Capitalism as a system requires a working class that can buy goods, but at the same time tries to minimize the spending on salaries so that it can maximize profits. These two things cannot be reconciled by capitalism, and the success of AI is the turning point where many people are starting to realize capitalism is a self-destructing system. We need to abandon it and move on to something else, plain and simple, for the wellbeing of everyone and of our planet.
