I use GPT4 to help me write code at work, I'd never get it to write full applications for me and its far better at backend than frontend in my experience but its great. I find that if I tell it to adhere to DRY and SOLID standards, use best practice and justify its decisions I get pretty clean code. It's important to use it as a pair programmer and not to do your job for you, it is also important to continue with good business practice like glass box testing and comprehensive code reviews to ensure you push out good code. Where I work, we've found that code reviews are generally easier now and less issues come up in testing. It will always need the human aspect though so do not rely on it to write everything for you.
