I walk 2 hours everyday here in Phoenix. We have many Waymo driverless cars and they're way safer from my perspective. Human drivers are extremely dangerous. Most drivers making a right turn look only to their left while blocking the crosswalk. I have to bang on their hood to get them to look for a pedestrian. This includes "professional" drivers and even firetrucks.
I've seen many trucks on interstates in wrecks. Falling asleep is a real danger.
