The lack of a tax base with AI covering all bases is not a problem per se. Not sure what will keep a nation's power strong or currency strong for international trade, but domestic spending can go on for everything that produces outcomes needed, and those outcomes can be distributed to the population instead of purchased with individual earnings. Also, there would be no need to create as much money for the high cost of services like health care if AI reduces the cost of those services. There only needs to be the political will or social maturity to prevent the tech giants and their investors from taking the savings and the monopolies on employment and changing that into rents.
