There are a lot of issues with AI Art but I think a lot of AI Art haters miss the point. It isn't about claiming you are an artist. For a lot of us it is simple being able to create things we like or need. I use AI Art to illustrate a lot of my writing. My primary work as a content creator is writing, not drawing. AI Art helps illustrate writing and it can help with the imagination of those stories. AI can be tremendous in giving ideas and moods from descriptions. Also the idea that AI Art is just to type a few words and perfect image pops out is silly. Yes, engines keep getting better but there is a big difference between getting a specific image and getting just any image. Doing AI Art well is a skill like any other, just like being a good photographer is a skill. A photographer doesn't draw the scene they capture, but they still need skills to take a photo. The criticism in this video is akin to dissing photography as a profession because there are people who snap quick pictures with their smart phone and call themselves photographers. That in no way implies that professional photography isn't a skill to learn. Take for instance the criticism here about lighting. Skilled AI art creators will do this in multiple stages and paint in where the light should fall and generate to get the light right.
