I loved AI art when it was spitting out cosmic horror/fae lord feverdreams, because that's some insane shit only someone on drugs would think of. Now that it's all cutesy/gooner slop or straight up stealing someone's whole artstyle.
Logically I know the old era of AI art was also stealing art, but it was so bad it was good, y'know? Now it's reached a threshold of being "good enough", but it will never be good enough, because it's uninspired and boring. The AI bros should've stuck to the bizarre dream art that made no sense, because that was something art doesn't do often.
