i don't understand what's so wrong about these companies knowing things about me.
yes, it is concerning that we don't know what they are doing with the data.
and how they are using that data.
.
but, having more information is essential for us to move forward (technologically).
i don't think we should ask them to stop collecting/using the data that we provide.
but,
we should be made aware of how that data is being used (in every single way it's being used).
and we should have a say in how it's being used. (in all levels)

we are the sellers of these data, we should be able to,
Monitor,
control,
and sell these data,
in whatever way we please.
(i use the word sell because, the provider of these data {us,} should be compensated, for providing the necessary (digital) material required to run/train/improve the a.i. / apparatus that they are developing, and are putting to use in a commercial manner.)

once money is involved it's no longer an obscure charity. it would become a business transaction and fraudulent business practice is a serious thing.
and i know this is not the best way to solve this problem.
but this is the best way i can imagine, 4 this problem to be taken seriously.
